The farm has a secular tradition in the production of high-quality wines; we vint only our own grapes, coming from vineyards with highly favourable microclimatic conditions.

We tend to restrict the productive amount in order to get rich and concentrated grapes that, by means of a refined enological technique, give unmistakeable scents and flavours to our wines.

BELARIA
Colli Tortonesi Dolcetto DOC

Belaria is the name of a little hill under wines, already mentioned at the beginning of the XXth century, in several official documents, as an excellent vineyard terrain.
Nicoletta Calandra’s farm produces here the grapes for its Colli Tortonesi Dolcetto, a wine characterized by soft and harmonious flavour and fruity fragrance.

 

CANVÈRA
Colli Tortonesi Barbera DOC

Canvèra wine is the result of a careful assembly of Barbera and small quantities of Freisa and Croatina grapes, giving a unique fragrance.

 

MAJOR
Colli Tortonesi Barbera DOC

Nicoletta Calandra’s farm vinted this Barbera “refining” it with 10% of Croatina.
In this wine you can therefore find the body and the strength of the former and the fragrant agreeableness of the latter.

 

OPERA
Colli Tortonesi Barbera DOC

Nicoletta Calandra’s farm produces this Barbera in barriques, refining it then in bottles. During ageing its intense ruby colour verges on dark red. The elegance and the persistence of its scents make of it a rare wine, best served with refined meats at 16-18 °C.
